Space to Bloom

On New Year's Eve in movement classes we made offerings. We used this beautiful seed paper to write down the things we wanted to release, and the things we wanted to nourish.

We released that which no longer was serving us into a little fire outside the studio door.

We planted those things that we wanted to nourish. The seed paper struggled to grow, but it did not die. It merged with the soil. And after a few weeks of watering and tending, it had been completely absorbed into the soil. I sprinkled a few seeds of wildflowers into that rich soil holding all of the things we were choosing to nourish, and a few days later, the sprouts began to emerge.

They have reached the end of their time in this pot.

They need more space to bloom and spread and grow.

BUT, it was our intentions that nourished this soil. Our intentions that transformed into what these little seeds needed to take root.

They will find space in the earth to grow and flourish, with our intentions deeply woven into their buds.
